Erling Haaland has REJECTED Manchester City‘s approach to open new contract talks.
City have sought to upgrade Haaland’s deal, which would include the elimination of his current contract’s buyout clause.
But Okdiario’s chief pundit Eduardo Inda, when speaking on El Chiringuito, revealed: “Haaland signed until 2027 with a release clause for next year of 200 million (euros) and Manchester City has offered to extend his contract until 2028 and instead of earning 32 million net for season he’d get 40 until 2028.
“The mega star of Manchester City has said no, advised by his representative Rafaela Pimenta.
“City asked him to cancel the release clause after seeing how he is playing.
“City offers him more money and a bonus for goals scored, but he has said no.”
