Liverpool defender Jarell Quansah says they’ll learn from their Europa League defeat at Union SG.
A youthful Reds lost 2-1 having already been confirmed as group winners.
Quansah scored Liverpool‘s goal and later said: “It was a youthful side, but we came into the game expecting to win and wanting to win.
“We don’t go into any game not wanting that, so I think it didn’t go the way we wanted to but [there were] a lot of key learning moments for myself and for the team.”
He added: “The crowd was loud tonight, we expected that, but obviously for the young lads who have not experienced that it’s invaluable.
“I can say that for myself as I’ve played in big stadiums and in big games and you really get a sense of these important games so moving forward that’s always good to have in the bag.”
