Mills: Leeds players really believed we could do something special

Former Leeds fullback Danny Mills felt they could’ve won the Premier League during his time at Elland Road.

Mills left Leeds in 2003, but believes they were building something special before the club financially collapsed.

“Now a lot of us had worked with him with England, knew what a fantastic coach he was, a lot of us were excited about that.

“If the financial situation hadn’t been plodded, we thoroughly believe that we could go on and really challenge for the Premier League.”
