Inter Milan vice-president Javier Zanetti says they cannot dwell on Romelu Lukaku‘s departure last summer.
Chelsea striker Lukaku, after spending last season on-loan with Inter, is now with Roma.
Zanetti said: “We wanted him to stay with us, then things happened that we didn’t expect and we decided to exit the negotiations.
“Lukaku is now a player for another club, he is part of our past and now as a club we have to look to the future.”
