Manchester United could have an official new owner in the coming days or weeks.
Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani of the Qatari royal family has apparently been successful in buying the club.
Qatari outlet Al-Watan, which is owned by Sheikh Jassim’s father Jassim bin Jaber Al Thani, has stated that a deal is done.
The source also states that an announcement will come very soon about the deal being concluded.
Media reports in England had previously stated that Sir Jim Ratcliffe of INEOS was in the lead.
However, the Qataris had made a final bid in the last week to try and push through a sale.
Now it appears they have been successful with their endeavor to take over the Red Devils.
