Manchester United would be Chelsea star Mason Mount‘s preferred destination if he leaves his boyhood club.
The attacking midfielder is out of contract in a year at the Stamford Bridge team.
Mount, who is not agreeing to a renewal, will be put up for sale when the window opens if no agreement is found.
Per The Athletic, Mount is leaning towards United over the other teams chasing his signature.
The likes of Liverpool, Arsenal, and Tottenham have all been mentioned in connection to his signing in recent months.
A move to United is by no means certain, but the first step would be for Mount to officially declare that he is not renewing at Chelsea.
