Wolves boss Julen Lopetegui admits he’s unsure of his summer budget.
Lopetegui concedes concern after their spending spree in January.
“I had that meeting (with Jeff Shi, chairman) and now I know that there are some problems of Financial Fair Play that I was unaware of before,” he said.
“Now I hope we solve this issue because it is very difficult to compete in the Premier League without investment.
“I hope so. It’s one thing he didn’t know before. I hope we can improve to compete next season. I am not an accountant or financial advisor. I know that without investing more it could lead to difficulties, but that is not my job. That’s why the club has a person to respond to this.”
